John Michael Pinski, MD Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon Fellowship Trained in Adult Reconstruction Surgery

Dr. John Pinski is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in reconstructive surgery of the hip and knee. Based in Greenville, South Carolina, he is part of Bon Secours Piedmont Orthopaedic Associates and sees patients in the Bon Secours St. Francis Health System. Dr. Pinski is dedicated to creating personalized treatment plans that prioritize function, comfort, and long-term joint health. 

Dr. Pinski completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, after earning his Doctor of Medicine from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo. He went on to complete a fellowship in adult joint reconstruction at OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Prior to his current role, Dr. Pinski practiced at Resurgens Orthopaedics in Marietta, Georgia. He has also conducted advanced orthopaedic and immunology research through fellowships at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City and the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. His work has been presented internationally and published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, and he remains active in academic publishing and surgical education.

Dr. Pinski is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS), and other professional societies. Outside of medicine, he enjoys hiking with his dog, skiing, scuba diving and stand-up comedy.
